Writer and Editor

We're looking for an entrepreneurial writer and editor to shape how ElevenLabs communicates in long form. You'll collaborate closely with growth, research, engineering, product, partnerships and other teams to produce compelling content that engages and informs our most important audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Own the ElevenLabs blog – setting the editorial standard, writing new content, and editing draft posts from other teams.
• Interview domain experts, mine data sets, and monitor internal updates to unearth the best ideas and stories.
• Make complex business and technical updates legible through clear writing and compelling visualizations.
• Define the house style and ensure ElevenLabs maintains a consistent voice.
• Write keynotes and remarks for senior leadership that stick in the minds of audiences.
• Manage a network of freelance writers and editors to scale output as needed.

Requirements:

• A background in journalism, editorial, or long-form writing, ideally covering AI, tech, or audio.
• Exceptional writing across different formats.
• Strong editing skills and the ability to reshape others' work while preserving their intent.
• Strong instincts for distribution and a good understanding of how to shape writing to ensure it reaches and resonates with target audiences.
• A track record of owning and improving editorial output, not just contributing to it.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and an interest in helping the world understand what we’re building.
