Porter

As a porter at xAI, you will interact with employees, staff members, and management staff in our private restaurant and throughout the campus, politely and courteously. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating sanitation and food safety practices, helping to evaluate receiving spaces, completing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, and maintaining a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurant.

You will also help with restocking supplies, staging for takeaway options, and other duties assigned by kitchen management. You will need to be able to work well with others, be self-driven, and complete other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager on duty.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, 1+ year of restaurant experience, warehouse experience, and/or customer service experience. A current and valid WA food handler's card or equivalent is also required.

This is a 1st Shift position, Monday - Friday, 7AM - 4PM. You will need to be able to carry large, heavy items unassisted, stand for long periods of time, and be willing to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed.
