What the team is looking for.
Mistral AI is looking for a senior Incident Response and Digital Forensics specialist to lead its incident response capability across a complex, rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.
The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of major security incidents, from initial investigation and containment through remediation and post-incident improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the incident response lifecycle for high-severity security events
- Acting as incident commander during complex security incidents
- Building, maintaining, and testing incident response runbooks
- Developing and operating forensic capabilities across cloud, containerized, on-premises, and endpoint environments
- Preserving, collecting, and analyzing digital evidence using rigorous and repeatable forensic methodologies
- Partnering with SOC and Detection Engineering teams to strengthen detection-to-response workflows
- Designing and facilitating tabletop exercises with stakeholders
- Leading blameless post-mortems and ensuring lessons learned translate into durable technical and organizational improvements
The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading complex incident response and digital forensics investigations in cloud-native, technology, or similarly high-stakes environments.
