What the team is looking for.
As a Technical Program Manager for Product at Anthropic, you'll drive programs that bring AI capabilities to the world. You'll work closely with research teams to understand new model capabilities and orchestrate across engineering, product, infrastructure, and go-to-market teams to ensure reliable launches.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end program management for model and product launches
- Drive cross-functional alignment and decision-making across workstreams
- Partner with Research PMs and engineering leads to sequence work and manage dependencies
- Track and communicate program status, risks, and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders
- Coordinate with research teams to understand upcoming model capabilities
- Navigate tradeoffs between speed, quality, and scope
- Develop and improve launch processes and operational frameworks
- Create and maintain documentation of launch processes and decision logs
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in technical program management
- Deep technical knowledge to engage with ML researchers and engineers
- Experience managing programs with external dependencies and multiple stakeholder groups
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and build trust quickly
The annual compensation range for this role is $365,000-$435,000 USD.
