Role description

What the team is looking for.

We're building our Public Sector business from scratch, including federal, SLED, and healthcare sectors. As the dedicated Sales Strategy & Operations partner, you'll lay the operational foundation and act as a strategic operator and chief-of-staff to sales leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the embedded Sales Strategy & Operations business partner for GVPs operating within the Public Sector, Healthcare, Aerospace & Defense verticals
  • Stand up the operational core from scratch: forecast cadence, reporting, and performance visibility
  • Partner with sales leaders on the long-term operating model: territory design, headcount investment, and quota/comp structure
  • Get reps productive fast: onboard and set up sellers in systems, track headcount against an aggressive hiring plan, and keep data clean
  • Own pipeline integrity: inspect current- and future-quarter pipeline continuously
  • Step in as the forecasting backstop when sales leaders or reps aren't available
  • Adapt Americas GTM systems and processes to public-sector nuances
  • Develop a clear POV on how a high-functioning public-sector GTM operation should run

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years in Revenue/Sales Operations, with experience in sales operations, sales strategy & planning, and expertise in Public Sector, Healthcare, Aerospace & Defense verticals
  • Operate as a true partner to senior sales leaders, influencing decisions and shaping priorities
  • Built operational infrastructure from zero in an early-stage or fast-scaling environment
  • Data-led and hands-on, comfortable setting strategy and rolling up sleeves to build
  • Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy the build
  • Experience at a high-growth, consumption-based company is a strong plus
  • Public-sector or government GTM experience is a nice-to-have
