What the team is looking for.
We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, feedback management, and offer negotiations.
You will collaborate with hiring managers to develop and execute strategic hiring plans, proactively identify passive candidates, and ensure a world-class candidate experience.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles, a strategic over volume recruiting mindset, and a deep understanding of technical skills and market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and execute strategic hiring plans
- Proactively identify passive candidates
- Ensure a world-class candidate experience
- Track key recruiting metrics
- Partner with People Operations and cross-functional teams
- Represent Cursor at recruiting events
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles
- Strategic over volume recruiting mindset
- Deep understanding of technical skills and market trends
- Proven ability to build strong partnerships with hiring managers and senior leadership
- Excellent communication, organization, and candidate assessment skills
- Highly driven, self-starter with a data-driven, results-oriented mindset
Bonus Points:
- Experience recruiting for roles in AI, developer tools, or cybersecurity
- Previous experience with employer branding or diversity recruiting initiatives
Location: This is an in-office role ideally based out of our San Francisco office and secondarily, our NY office.
