What the team is looking for.
As a member of the facility operations team, you will design, build, and activate some of the world's most technically advanced facilities and data centers.
You will be the subject matter expert on all HVAC, piping, and other critical fluid systems, utilizing your knowledge, experience, and creativity to develop novel solutions at the cutting edge of space technology.
The position is based in Memphis, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Own and be the subject matter expert on fluid/HVAC components across the site.
- Perform CAD modeling and design of these systems.
- Perform fluid analyses for pressure balance, component design allowable, and consumables determination.
- Own maintenance and reliability of critical infrastructure assets across campus.
- Commission systems, validate nameplate performance, and implement predictive maintenance protocols to minimize downtime.
- Support equipment selection, sizing, and procurement.
- Drive root-cause investigations for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of professional experience working with various fluids components.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on experience with fluid handling systems.
- Experience using data acquisition equipment and test instrumentation.
- Experience with HVAC systems and air ducting.
- Experience with NX or other CAD packages and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with structural analysis methods.
- Experience with pressurized structures and/or lightweight aerospace structures.
