Job Title: Reliability Maintenance Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Amazon's logistics centres. As a Reliability Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of our technical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks on a wide range of equipment at our sites
- Perform repairs and fault diagnosis
- Utilise the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and practices
- Support the development and professional growth of apprentices at the site
- Work on projects to continuously improve and introduce best practices at various EU sites
A Day in the Life:
As a Reliability Maintenance Engineer, you will be based at one of our logistics centres, where you will be able to respond quickly to technical issues. You will carry out a series of planned preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure safe operation. You will also respond promptly to breakdowns and failures, investigating causes, finding solutions, and implementing them. Additionally, you will make recommendations for long-term improvements.
In collaboration with senior colleagues, you will perform daily maintenance tasks and communicate with service providers when external expertise is required. You will work in rotating shifts to ensure we can support our sites around the clock, enabling Amazon to continue delivering at the pace we're known for.
About the Team:
Our Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) team is essential to maintaining Amazon's fast delivery promise. At ATS, you will be part of a diverse team that plays a central role in the success of our supply chain. Working with air and sea freight companies, road hauliers, and our sorting centres, you will ensure that Amazon delivers to our customers as efficiently as possible.

Basic Qualifications:
- Completed technical vocational training, recognised by the Industry and Trade Chamber (IHK) or the Chamber of Crafts (HWK) or proof of successful completion of a university degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related field) at a German university or recognised foreign university degrees (BA, B.Sc., MA, M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing.)
- At least two years of experience in the relevant trade
- Experience in maintenance of industrial production equipment
- Advanced proficiency in German in writing and speaking
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with condition-based monitoring
- Experience working with vacuum systems and forklifts
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of conveyor or automation systems
