OpenRouter is seeking an Event Marketer to join our team. As an Event Marketer, you will be responsible for running events end-to-end, turning ideas into something repeatable, and working across teams and audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute across formats: conference activations, curated dinners, partner and third-party community events
- Own logistics, vendors, budgets, timelines, and on-site execution
- Take rough concepts and make them real, building lightweight playbooks and templates as patterns emerge
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and EPD to support key initiatives
- Help us show up effectively across developers, startups, AI-native teams, and VP and C-level leaders
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience running events (startup, tech, or agency)
- Experience with both large conferences/activations and smaller, curated experiences
- Strong operator with attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing plans
- Good taste – you know the difference between high-signal and forgettable
- Comfortable with AI-native workflows,you embrace automation and AI-assisted ways of working to move faster
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI, developer tools, or technical audiences
- Experience producing events for founders, startups, or VP and C-level leaders
- Experience in fast-moving, low-structure environments
