The Anthropic Institute is looking for an Operations Lead to be the operational backbone of our external convenings programs. As AI gets increasingly powerful, we are eager to engage and learn from a diverse set of leaders and communities. We view in-person convenings as an important vehicle for having deep and mutually beneficial conversations. We're looking for an operations leader with a passion for the work and the operational skills to execute meaningful convenings that can put the world on more solid footing as we collectively grapple with the changes brought upon by AI.
Responsibilities:
- Run convening operations end-to-end. For each convening, develop invite lists and track outreach; refine presentation materials; build welcome packets and research briefs; coordinate room/travel/dinner logistics; run point for day-of facilitation support; lead post-convening communications.
- Own systematic follow-up. Build systems to track customized post-convening support to participants as they shape and use AI in their own communities.
- Use Claude for innovation and scale. Develop Claude-based systems and tools to develop new ways of convening (Claude interviews participants before a convening to better understand their hopes) and create operational efficiency.
You may be a good fit if you:
- Find the work genuinely interesting, with a deep desire to engage diverse communities on the future of AI.
- Have a strong track record of building scalable operational systems for new programs.
- Have run high-touch external programs, executive convenings, or stakeholder engagement.
- Are comfortable with complex logistics that work across external organizations, internal teams, and executives.
