$216K – $240K • Offers Equity
The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. If the role is non-exempt, overtime pay will be provided consistent with applicable laws. In addition to the salary range listed above, total compensation also includes generous equity, performance-related bonus(es) for eligible employees, and the following benefits.

About the team
The Office of the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is responsible for orchestrating the global go-to-market (GTM) motion, driving scalable commercial growth, and deepening strategic customer relationships. The team ensures alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Research,enabling the revenue organization to operate with clarity, speed, and cohesion.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Visual Storytelling & Innovation Lead to help shape and elevate how the Office of the CRO communicates and operates.
You will work at the intersection of storytelling, design, and innovation,owning high-impact executive narratives while also driving “customer zero” experimentation with emerging OpenAI technologies. This role complements the strategic and operational work of the Office of the CRO by focusing on how ideas are translated into clear, compelling stories and how new tools can unlock more effective and empowered ways of working.
Responsibilities
Visual Storytelling & Executive Content
- Lead narrative development and presentation design for CRO-led strategic events, executive briefings, and key customer engagements
- Translate complex product, strategy, and customer insights into clear, compelling visual and written stories
- Bring storytelling to life through product demos and interactive experiences,showcasing OpenAI capabilities in ways that are tangible, engaging, and memorable
- Bring a strong point of view on what “great” looks like,raising the bar for craft in how ideas are communicated, experienced, and remembered
- Work closely with the Chief of Staff to the CRO to translate strategic initiatives into clear, compelling narratives and executive-ready materials for internal and customer-facing moments
Customer Zero & Innovation
- Lead “customer zero” adoption of OpenAI technologies,identifying, prototyping, and scaling high-impact use cases that transform how the CRO organization operates
- Prototype and develop lightweight custom GPTs and internal apps that enhance productivity, unlock new workflows, and showcase how OpenAI technologies can be applied across the Office of the CRO & GTM teams
- Develop narratives and examples that demonstrate how these technologies can be applied in real-world customer and internal contexts
- Serve as a bridge between product capabilities and real-world GTM application, translating innovation into tangible business impact
External Voice & Thought Leadership
- Partner closely with the CRO and Chief of Staff to shape how OpenAI’s GTM organization contributes to the broader conversation on AI, go-to-market transformation, and the future of work
- Translate internal insights and customer learnings into thoughtful, differentiated perspectives
- Help define how the Office of the CRO shows up externally through clear, consistent, and high-quality communication
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Research, and Communications to align messaging and deliver cohesive experiences
Requirements
- Have a strong track record of crafting high-quality narratives and presentations for executive audiences
- Are exceptional at simplifying complex ideas into clear, compelling stories (both visually and in writing)
- Thrive in ambiguous environments and can take ideas from concept to execution
- Are highly detail-oriented with strong taste and a high bar for quality
- Have experience working cross-functionally across go-to-market, product, or leadership teams
- Are comfortable experimenting with new tools and technologies, particularly AI, to improve workflows and outcomes
- Enjoy building new processes, frameworks, and approaches from the ground up
