We are looking for a Social Marketing Manager to build and lead OpenAI's social presence in Korea. This role will define how OpenAI shows up across Korea's key platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Kakao, and emerging communities like Threads, across both consumer and business audiences.
You will partner closely with global and local teams across product, research, and communications to bring our work to life in ways that resonate deeply with Korean audiences.
Key responsibilities include leading the development and execution of Korea's social marketing strategy, setting up and scaling social channels and systems, operating as a hands-on social lead, translating global priorities into locally resonant social storytelling, and leading high-visibility moments.
You might thrive in this role if you have deep experience in social marketing and a strong understanding of Korea's digital and cultural landscape, are comfortable operating as both a strategist and an operator, demonstrate strong judgment on tone, nuance, and what resonates with Korea audiences, and can translate complex or technical topics into clear, engaging, and human storytelling.
This is an opportunity to define how OpenAI shows up in Korea, one of our most important and nuanced markets. You will have real ownership in shaping our social voice, building locally relevant storytelling, and helping the company move with more speed, creativity, and cultural fluency in the market.
