We are seeking an accomplished Map Data QA to perform the validation of HD/SD map data, a vital component in autonomous driving. An ideal candidate should demonstrate extensive prior experience in the mapping field and deep domain knowledge of map data structure and validation strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategy for verifying map data to meet product requirements
- Define map data validation rules
- Participate in the development of automated map data validation framework
- Perform map data validation
- Train/support mapping operators on analysing data validation results
- Produce data validation report
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of map data validation standards and methodologies
- At least 5 years of dedicated QA work in the area of map data validation
- GIS background a great plus
- A motivated individual capable of working autonomously with minimal direction
- Phenomenal team player with excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of HD map data verification protocols and techniques
- A self-starter that requires minimal supervision
