As an Electrical Engineer at Amazon's Last Mile Delivery & Technology division, you will develop, characterise, and troubleshoot advanced machine vision and compute devices for automotive and industrial applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, verify, and validate hardware modules, subsystems, and end products from concept to production.
Key responsibilities include leading electrical design and optimisation for modules, assemblies, and sub-systems, developing electrical schematics, and providing oversight for component placement and layout activities of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).
You will also develop, execute, and automate electrical test plans, conduct troubleshooting, root cause analyses, and implement mitigation strategies throughout the product lifecycle, and partner across engineering, manufacturing, and business stakeholders to document, analyse, and prioritise functional specifications.
Additionally, you will manage relationships with external vendors and manufacturing partners.
Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, 3+ years of experience in PCBA-level circuit design for consumer, industrial, or automotive electronics, and proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
