As a Chip Design Engineer, you'll take ownership of complex hardware blocks and drive their design from specification through production, contributing to the hardware that powers Amazon Web Services, the world's most reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud platform – used by hundreds of thousands of businesses in over 190 countries.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead microarchitecture definition and implement logic blocks and data paths
- RTL coding and debug using SystemVerilog and industry-standard tools
- Drive synthesis, timing analysis, and timing-closure activities to achieve high-performance, timing-clean designs
- Oversee design reviews, sign-off processes, and tapeout preparation
- Partner with Verification and Emulation teams on test plans, coverage reviews, and debug
- Ensure quality and reliability validation, meeting AWS's rigorous hardware standards
