This role requires leading a team of hourly employees to maintain high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also engage your team during shifts to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.
The operation's workflow has three major components: First mile – where the product is housed and ready for order; Middle mile – where the order is hauled to your area; and Last mile – when the product is delivered to the customer's door.
As an Area Manager, you will support, mentor, and motivate your team. You will manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. You will collaborate with all support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives.

Basic qualifications include 2+ years of employee and performance management experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
