This role involves supervising a team of hourly employees operating within xAI's logistics organisation. The goal is to become a leader in logistics performance with high inventory efficiency/accuracy and industry-leading customer service while maintaining a safe work environment that utilises the latest in applicable technologies.
Responsibilities include managing an hourly workforce, leading by setting an example, monitoring and improving operations, managing the incoming acceptance, storing, and issuing of parts, and supervising the local shipping and receiving operation.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing, or 4+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred skills and experience include 5+ years of experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP)/inventory management software, experience working with material requirements planning (MRP) systems, and 5+ years of leadership experience within materials management.
Additional requirements include lifting up to 25 lbs., standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying, as well as being willing to travel to other sites and work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
