We're seeking a Transformative AI Research Economist to join our Economic Research team at Anthropic. As a Research Economist, you will contribute to the development of economic models and analyses to inform our AI research. You will work closely with our team of researchers, engineers, and policy experts to understand the economic implications of our AI systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply economic models to understand the impact of AI on various industries and sectors
- Analyse data to identify trends and patterns related to AI adoption and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement economic strategies for our AI products
- Communicate complex economic concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- PhD in Economics or a related field
- Strong background in econometrics and statistical analysis
- Experience with machine learning and AI technologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
