We are seeking a Software Engineer II to build key features across the Copilot stack, spanning backend services, LLM prompting, and cross-surface UI experiences within Bing. This role offers solid ownership, technical depth, and the opportunity to shape some of the most user-impacting, AI-driven experiences at the intersection of Search, Maps, and Copilot.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on building secure, scalable, and compliant code using AI. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining features, as well as creating prompts and building evals. The ideal candidate will also have experience with debugging tools and logs, and be able to contribute to architecture discussions and design docs.
