We are seeking a strong operator to serve as the operational backbone of our Economic Research team. Your overarching mandate is twofold: 1) clear the brush so our researchers can efficiently execute on key research priorities, and 2) ensure research aspirations and findings translate into concrete policy and commercial outcomes.
In this role, you will drive execution on the team's research initiatives, such as economic index releases, economic briefs and working papers, agents research, Clio observability analyses, and Anthropic interviewer deployments. You will also work backward from business deadlines to set research deadlines/milestones and plan out team capacity.
Key responsibilities include ensuring smooth operating cadence and relationship touchpoints with our research ecosystem, partnering with colleagues on Research, Public Policy, Communications, and GTM to organise briefings and campaigns that amplify key research findings, and supporting the team lead in setting quarterly research priorities and resource allocation.
We are looking for someone with a 5+ year track record managing and delivering on business-critical, cross-functional initiatives, who can quickly gain state on technical domains and navigate organisational complexity, building relationships and influencing without authority.
Sample projects include building a living tracker for critical research workstreams, managing contracting and vendor relationships for commissioned research projects, and coordinating cross-functional alignment for a major academic research partnership.
The annual compensation range for this role is $180,000-$210,000 USD.
