As International Readiness Lead, you'll drive the cross-functional work that makes Claude deployable, compliant, and commercially viable in Anthropic's priority markets. You'll contribute to Anthropic's international compute strategy, develop a framework for evaluating and sequencing data residency and sovereign deployment requests, and identify and document international customer requirements for product localization.
You'll translate infrastructure and product capabilities into commercial propositions, partnering with Sales and Marketing to ensure international enterprise and government customers understand what Anthropic can deliver, and when. You'll serve as the internal subject matter expert on international readiness requirements, advising on deals, partnerships, and policy positions as they arise.
You'll build scalable processes for capturing, triaging, and acting on international product feedback so it doesn’t get lost in HQ product cycles. You'll serve as the GTM strategist for Anthropic’s mission-oriented international programs, including our approach to responsible AI deployment in democratic allied nations and our strategy for expanding access and affordability in Global South markets.
You'll partner with Policy, Beneficial Deployments, and Global Affairs to ensure mission programs have a viable commercial and infrastructure foundation, not just a policy framework. You'll track and synthesise the competitive landscape for sovereign AI and national AI programs, surfacing implications for Anthropic’s positioning and commercial strategy.

Requirements
- 5–7 years in product, technical GTM, solutions engineering, or strategy roles with meaningful international scope
- Strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, data residency frameworks, and enterprise compliance requirements
- Experience working with or selling to government customers or regulated enterprises
- Ability to synthesise complex technical, regulatory, and geopolitical constraints into clear commercial and strategic recommendations
- Comfortable building internal processes from scratch
- High autonomy and strong written communication
- Direct experience with sovereign cloud programs, regulated data environments, or government AI initiatives is a plus
- Familiarity with EU AI Act, India DPDP Act, or similar regulatory frameworks shaping enterprise AI deployment internationally is a plus
- Experience at a hyperscaler, cloud provider, or enterprise SaaS company navigating international infrastructure decisions is a plus
- An interest in the intersection of AI, democratic governance, and responsible technology deployment is a plus
- Annual salary: £120,000-£170,000 GBP
$190,000-$270,000 USD
