As a Test Engineer at Elgato, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products perform their proposed functions in a satisfactory manner. This involves manual and automated testing of our products, including cameras, capture, microphones, and lights. You will need to have solid knowledge of PCs, consoles, smart devices, and be able to troubleshoot across multiple platforms. Python skills for test automation are also required. You will be expected to complete testing and file results with minimal oversight, and provide recommendations and advice to relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete QA testing for SW and FW of Elgato products
- Compiling reports on findings and testing data gathered
- Record testing data and analyze results, and file all issues and concerns in bug tracking software
- Providing recommendations and advice to relevant stakeholders
- Define and refine test cases
- Automate tests where possible and necessary
Essential skills and experience include:
- Graduate from Automation, Informatics, Tele-communication or similar
- Experience in testing or automation is a plus
- Proficient in Python
- Ability to communicate in English, written and spoken (intermediate level min. A2)
- Self-starter with minimal need for oversight
- Independent thinker able to follow instruction
- Teamwork is a must
