As a Technical Program Manager for Wearables Hardware Engineering, you will lead multidisciplinary programs through the NPI process to develop the next generation of AI Glasses. You will establish requirements with internal and external customers, manage program schedules, identify risks, mitigation plans, and clearly communicate them to program stakeholders.
You will partner with the electrical engineering team to define, design, and execute hardware, manage the development of main logic boards, flexible printed circuits, development platforms, and other EE-driven designs. You will work with key silicon and electro-mechanical vendors to ensure technical deliverables are met, and partner with supply chain managers for vendor selection.
You will coordinate with other internal cross-functional design and operations teams, including product design, manufacturing engineering, firmware, and software, to develop cohesive development plans. You will manage external design resources and contract manufacturers, and be responsible for running the SMT portion of development builds.
You will develop project schedules, communicate program statuses, and identify/address potential setbacks. You will work cross-functionally to develop best practices and technology development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment to ensure on-time delivery.
You will coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables, such as architecture definition, product specifications, data reviews, and test plans. You will ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review.
Up to 20% travel is required for this role.
