As a Battery Research Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of next-generation devices by driving the research and development of advanced battery technologies. In this role, you will lead the creation and execution of technical roadmaps and strategies for innovative battery solutions that power future AR and XR devices.
What you'll do
Lead and contribute to research teams developing advanced battery technologies, from concept through to prototype
Define and execute research roadmaps in partnership with internal and external collaborators
Drive the transfer of promising battery technologies from research to product development, supporting new technology introduction (NTI) and new product introduction (NPI) projects
Lead and contribute to battery modeling efforts, including electrochemical modeling, materials modeling, and/or AI/ML for materials discovery
Design and execute experiments to support model development and validation
Collaborate cross-functionally with research, engineering, and manufacturing partners
What you need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
