This strategic role within the Office of the CEO (OCEO) drives complex, cross-functional early stage strategic programs within the CEO's portfolio, with a direct impact on Google DeepMind's mission.
The position requires significant influence, credibility, and agility to partner with senior leaders across Google DeepMind, Google, and Alphabet to strategically plan, prioritise, and execute critical initiatives.
As a member of the OCEO team, you will partner with leaders and teams across Google DeepMind on a range of projects within the CEO's portfolio, specifically focusing on developing early-stage ideas into full-fledged strategies and aligning them with the CEO's vision.
Key responsibilities include partnering with leaders, program managers, and other teams to deliver critical programs and maximise the success of the CEO's engagement with key initiatives across the business.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a track record of managing and leading fast-moving and ambitious ventures, ideally involving Artificial Intelligence, from start to finish.
You will also need to have worked closely and consistently with senior executives, ideally in direct partnership, and have extensive experience collaborating and influencing senior leaders and executive to define, develop, and prioritise programs, forming high trust relationships across an organisation.
In addition, you will need to be skilled at written and verbal communications, including emails, memos, and presentations, across audiences of all sizes and backgrounds.
A strong problem solver, you will possess exceptional analytical skills, with a proven ability to bring structure to ambiguity and a bias to action.
Experience in contributing to functionally, geographically, and culturally diverse teams is also essential.
You will need to be trustworthy, discreet, and impartial, with a high level of integrity and excellent sense of judgement.
Finally, you will need to be excited about AI technologies and making a long-term contribution to Google DeepMind.
