Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale databases to support our AI systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify database requirements and design solutions
- Develop and implement data models, schema, and indexing strategies to ensure optimal performance
- Work with our data engineering team to design and implement data pipelines and workflows
- Analyse database performance and optimise queries to improve system efficiency
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on databases
- Strong understanding of database design principles, data modelling, and query optimisation
- Experience with large-scale database systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
