As an Audio Embedded Engineer at Meta, you'll help shape the future of how people experience sound through AI-enabled glasses. What you'll do
Analyze, design, develop and debug audio features on Android systems. Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions. Develop system software for a variety of wearable consumer devices. Develop clean readable code, debug complex problems, prioritize and get things done with a high level of efficiency. Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of problem solving.
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of overall experience
- 3+ years of software engineering experience of audio software systems including audio DSP or machine learning signal processing development experience
- Experience in Android or Linux audio stack development
- Experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases that span platforms and tools
- Communication experience and demonstrated experience working across disciplines to drive optimal solutions
