As a Retail Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving annual and quarterly targets in the Japanese market. Your primary focus will be on growing retail revenue for all product lines, particularly gaming peripherals, furniture, Elgato, SCUF, and FANATEC.
Key responsibilities include managing relationships with distributors, ensuring company instructions are well delivered, and maintaining inventory levels in distributors and channel customers. You will also be responsible for managing margin structures, building direct relationships with main retail buyers, and improving Corsair's understanding of the Japan retail market.
To achieve this, you will lead sales activities such as promotions, bundle deals, incentives, and spiffs. You will also have financial discipline to control budgets for back-end rebates, MDF, and honor claims.
In addition, you will work with channel customers to build up the CORSAIR retail presence, including Corsair brand shelves, display materials, experience zones, and flagship stores. You will also establish relationships with leading retail stores, conduct regular on-site visits, and survey competitor information in the channel.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of working experience in the Japanese retail industry, possess good communication and negotiation skills, and be customer-focused and open to change.
