We are seeking a Research Intern to join our Audio team. This position will focus on estimating the effective low-frequency corner (ELFC) of audio render systems based on its hardware system capability (distortion).
What you'll do
Understand VR render pipeline: learn the key stages in VR render systems, focusing on low-frequency signal reproduction, and the relationship between transducer distortion and low frequency output.
- Responsibility 1: Understand VR render pipeline: learn the key stages in VR render systems, focusing on low-frequency signal reproduction, and the relationship between transducer distortion and low frequency output.
- Responsibility 2: Leverage Simulation Methodology and develop as needed: Design and implement simulations to generate sinusoidal inputs and model system responses.
What you need
- Required skill 1: Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a PhD in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Acoustics, Physics, or related field.
- Required skill 2: Demonstrated expertise with COMSOL, Python (NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib) and/or MATLAB for simulation and data analysis.
