At Google DeepMind, we're seeking a talented Research Engineer to join our team in Mountain View, California. As a Research Engineer, you will apply research ideas to high-impact real-world problems, including prototyping, dataset curation, model training, performance optimisation, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on cutting-edge machine learning projects, including generative media, efficient inference, multimodal understanding, model optimisation, reinforcement learning, and more.
*-leading the development of novel AI models and techniques. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to drive progress in our projects.
About You:
- You have a BSc, MSc or PhD degree in computer science, mathematics, applied statistics, machine learning, or a related field.
- You have hands-on experience with training diffusion models and proven experience working with TensorFlow or similar ML frameworks.
- You have recent experience conducting applied research and a proven track record of delivering results.
- You are a strong communicator and team player, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
