The need for the Equipment Strategy Lead arises from the significant growth and complexity in Meta's data center building engineering, design, and construction. Over the past 1.5 years, the number of equipment submittals and SKUs has quadrupled, with over 1,000 SKUs and more than 300 in development. This expansion is driven by the increasing importance of owner furnished equipment (OFE) and is exacerbated by increasing quantity of manufactured owner furnished equipment (MOFE) as Meta's data center program grows and speed of deployment is critical.
