We're looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our engineering organisation as we scale through Series A and beyond. This role is about operational leadership, not being the most senior technical decision-maker, and not coding day-to-day. It's about making everyone around you more effective, more aligned, and more ambitious.
What you'll do
- Scale an engineering team from 10 to 100+ people in product engineering orgs
- Hire great people, keep them engaged and growing, and introduce practices to preserve autonomy and intellectual honesty
- Establish coordination, rituals, and release practices that keep us shipping fast without sacrificing quality
What you need
- Technical credibility without needing to be the best engineer in the room
- Ability to engage substantively in architecture discussions and earn the respect of senior ICs
- Experience with AI-first engineering organisations and probabilistic outputs
