As a Facilities Maintenance Technician at xAI Memphis, you will handle routine non-critical maintenance while supporting operations on critical systems under supervision. You'll perform limited maintenance on offline equipment, ensuring the smooth functioning of our data center infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Perform non-critical maintenance and repair work, including: People door repairs, Administrative area upkeep, Building envelope maintenance, Landscaping
- Under direct supervision of an operator, assist as required in the operation of critical equipment.
- Perform limited maintenance on offline critical equipment as directed, including: Single chiller maintenance, Single CDU filter changeouts, Leak detection verification in alarming racks
What you need
- 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related role (data center experience preferred)
- Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage time and priorities effectively
