As a Data Engineering Manager at Meta, you will be responsible for leading teams that deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous or high-impact area. You will work with team and cross-functional partners to define and influence strategy, and collaborate with various functions to drive engineering initiatives and have an impact at an organizational level.
What you'll do
- Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
- Be both a highly technical, hands-on coder and an effective people manager.
- Be a subject matter expert in at least one specific domain.
What you need
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Analytics, Physics, or related field.
- Two years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
