xAI is seeking a Controls Technician to support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems for our data centers and infrastructure. This role involves hands-on work with BMS, EPMS, SCADA systems, PLCs, and other industrial controls to ensure reliable operation of critical systems like cooling, power distribution, and safety protocols.
What you'll do
- Assist in the implementation and modification of BMS, EPMS, and SCADA systems for data centers, following engineer specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of critical systems (e.g., chillers, pumps, power distribution) using PLCs and industrial control technologies.
What you need
- Associate's Degree in a technical field (e.g., Controls Technology, Mechatronics, Automation, or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a technician working with industrial control systems.
