We are seeking an experienced Research Scientist to join our Surreal research group at Reality Labs Research (RL-R). As a Research Scientist, you will drive the design, analysis, and optimization of Contextual AI algorithms for Project Aria and related prototypes.
What you'll do
- Lead research and development of Contextual AI algorithms for next-generation AR devices, including Project Aria prototypes
- Design, analyze, and optimize real-time computer vision and machine learning algorithms across heterogeneous compute platforms (custom Meta SoCs, mobile, and cloud)
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Extensive experience leading and delivering solutions in core Computer Vision and multimodal AI
